As long as your doctor would like you to. Even with “good” blood pressure readings, vitals are the fastest way to prevent avoidable future heart attacks, strokes and hospitalization. Often your vitals will change a few days prior to an emergency.

The choice is yours, sometimes travel can adversely affect your health, for long trips we recommend it so that we can help you prevent hospitalization in another town or country.

We need your doctor to approve this. Once approved we can send you a glucometer that is compatible with our system. We don’t cover the cost of test strips but can send the glucometer if you are in compliance with taking daily vitals on your primary device.

We can send the information to the doctor who is authorizing the program and to anyone you have outlined in your consent form. We can also give you information on how to access your vitals from the website. 

We can reset your username and password for you. We don’t have access to your current password, this is one the many ways we are HIPAA compliant.

If you have a chronic condition, your vitals will often be the first sign that something is off. This will give us and your doctor the ability to be proactive vs. reactive and keep unnecessary hospital visits to a minimum and/or eliminate a hospital visit completely. We would rather you go to your doctors for adjustments in medication vs going to the ER down the road. 

If your doctor is reviewing your vitals and they are good, he/she will often spend the small amount of time they have with you discussing things they don’t have reports for. Vitals are very clear and speak directly to a doctor’s understanding. You are welcome to bring up your vitals with your doctor at any time. 

RPM is the best way to prevent avoidable hospitalization. It is less expensive to pay for remote patient monitoring than 1 day in the hospital. Quality of life and aging in place are better for each person when vitals are kept in check.
